I spent this afternoon doing a couple steampunk pages in my journal. This was amazing amount of fun.  I cut out the head from steampunk images on cd from the book I got for Christmas from my d.h.  'Steampunk Sourcebook.'  the crow is a stamp; wings also a stamp; the gears are from Tim Holtz  cut out on my Big Shot. This brass ring around my lady's eye, the eye of the bird and the buttons down my lady's dress are all watch parts I bought in tiny tins when Lorne and I went to a book show last year...what a scoop that was. The clock by the lady has the hands from one of the little tins I got..so I have plenty to play with in future art...This was an afternoon well spent for sure.....
