I have a small studio and I am always needing space.  I wish this was my idea but I have seen it floating around for a while now and it sure hit the nail on the head for organizing.  I took the old extra dvd cases we had left over from when my hubby and I have our movie business.  They are thicker than the newer slim cases.  I pulled out the back plastic part that sits inside and holds the dvd in place.  then I put in (on their mylar backing) my cling free stamps.  Now if the set is too big I just cut it in half and put the front showing the stamp and under that I put a cut piece of white paper and under that I put the other half with the stamps facing out the back of the case...so you can turn it over from front to back and see what's in there....I also mounted my rubber stamps the same way.  The mounted stamps I put in the same colour plastic boxes so whenever I see the blue plastic flat boxes (fromMichaels) on the shelf right away I know it is stamps...of course I labelled them anyway...(I like labelling).  All my non word stamps went in one case and the word stamps went in the other case.  My seasonals stamps are all kept together in another case....the dvd cases will fit nicely in a file drawer, shoe box type of case etc. and certainly saves space and time when looking for stamps.

These are some cards I made...not my idea my girlfriends but she let me make the same as hers....she is an excellent card maker.....

this card I made for my darling hubby from our Cats...Ms Cali Cat and Silly Salem....inside I put double sided tape on the little saying pocket so we could tuck some $$ in there towards the sand wedge he wanted...

this card was made for Father's Day for my son in law...so the idea on some blog and thought it was so cute I did my idea of it...My s-i-l is really a very good golfer so I just thought this was too cute to pass up.

Soccer game and telephoto lens...Nicky played regular on the team and then in goal....so cool because from across the field it brings it up close...having so much fun with this....

For my birthday my husband bought me a new camera and for Mother's Day this year the kids and him got me a telephoto lens.  I wanted this so when I go to my granddaughter's hockey or soccer games I can take some great close ups...I played with it first....below are pictures from inside the house of the bunny and finch in my yard...my cats Ms Cali Cat and Silly Salem....the flowers in my daughter's yard...I got lots of wonderful background pictures for my art....

Every year on my granddaughter's birthday I do her a paper bag journal.  This year was her 13th birthday and I have taken some of the pictures of her journal of the year here for you to see...the bag book was so full that my hubby had to do the Cinch for binding it was so full.  I love doing a yearly journal for her with pictures of her life during the year.  She is avid in hockey (all boys' team) and soccer player and an amazing artist. Sound like I am proud? I could burst with pride...
