I did another piece but instead of cutting it up I left it and added the face as the focal point...I really like this one and it would look nice in a frame...I call her Lady Behind   The Words....It is a great technique and I am loving doing it....the zens below (freehand) was mounted on a small piece I did like this as the background mount...

This piece was done with my TheLatestTrendsinMixedmediaart group. We do a different textured page each month from a different artist....I am not happy with the way mine turned out. I loved it before I cut it up into pieces and added the alphabet and wire...but I will try it again...my wire isn't exactly the way it was supposed to look....

Zentangles for Easter for one of my groups I belong to.  I liked my grandson's idea of bunny feet and decided to just free hand the other not being an Easter one but  I didn't want to do anything else.

I am reading Life is A Verb and it is one of the best books I have read....full of beautiful quotes and excercises (journaling) to do....I think we all should own this book...lots to learn from it.  I guess I especially like it because it holds many of my Buddhist beliefs and the way I try to follow my life journey...It reminds me that I have constant work to do on being better in my life...If you haven't picked it up you should and although the front cover is arty and guys would think it is a girly book it is NOT!! It is a journey for all of us.
Two more pages for the swap...We only had to do six but I was having fun...the lined one is watercolour pencils and pitt pen and the lady is digital manipulated.

these are pages I did for backgrounds in a journal swap on one of my lists....the two above are with stencils; the one with the tag you pull down the tag and journal on the back of it as well as the page behind...the lily (in yellow) is done with a napkin....

this is part of the group I did for the swap.  The lined one is all just free hand  with water colour pencils and pitt pen...the lady and backgrd is didgital.

This is my grandog Tucker George. He is outside in the morning's snow.  Does it get any cuter than this?
